I did it - really did it - I deleted my Facebook account - I deactivated it first about 12 months back and then 2 weeks back I did it again. If you know me well enough, you’ll know I’m an over-connected Digital ‘Immigrant’ though I feel like a Native.

So Facebook has been deleted now .. I want to keep in contact with friends and family. Not just read about their lives and make random guesses about what’s going on.

I can’t explain it - it’s a contradiction to me - in what I do, in who I am, in how I live - that I want to be more connected with my network, in real-time but not just on the Internet.

Help me to say goodbye to Facebook .. help me to move on 🙂
