I have no doubt that I’m starting again … after many years of no content (apart from occasional holiday snap), readers / visitors are at all time low.
It wasn’t that long back, when I was averaging upwards of 7,500 visitors a month, and thanks to Google Analytics, there is a long history that shows the slow decline.
Launching this new Hugo based site at the start of May is the first step - there is already more new content specifically on Hugo. One thing I have noticed already is people are coming back. From having 100% new visitors each month, returning visitors in July 2020 now make up 10% - so some stuff is sticking …
