FAQ’s – How to start stop Apache on a Mac

So this is a very basic FAQ and notes on Apache for Mac

Terminal Commands

Starting: “sudo apachectl start”

Stopping: “sudo apachectl stop”

Restarting: “sudo apachectl restart”


Make Apache start when you login to your Mac


sudo launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.apache.httpd.plist

sudo launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.apache.httpd.plist
