2019 Where am I?

Hi there … yes, it’s been awhile – but I’m back and just trying to figure out what I will do with this site.

In the meantime, social media and digital marketing has moved on – so most of my content is on Instagram. Don’t get me started about Twitter. Do people still use it? or just bots?

Things are going to change around here and I’ll be writing more about my experiences with SharePoint 2013 and less on WordPress.

I’m out of memory – but you shouldn’t see it

Well it’s happened – I seem to be hitting memory issues as a result of running too many WordPress sites on a shared hosting plan.

DBC Backup 2 – gets a significant re-write to support mysqli connector

DBC Backup 2 has just undergone a major update to use mysqli connector. This is a significant change as the PHP mysql connector has been flagged for removal since PHP v5.

For the first time the plugin will introduce a download function – allow a logged in admin user to download the backup file.

The new version is slated for release in the next week and is currently in stability testing.
